Homeopathy
What is Homeopathy?
“The physician’s highest and only calling is to restore health to the sick, which is called healing”
Samuel Hahnemann (founder of Homeopathy)
Homeopathy, a natural health care system with over 200 years of worldwide use, is recognized by the World Health Organization as the second largest therapeutic system in the world today. While most popular in India and South America, over thirty million Europeans and millions more worldwide benefit from its practice.
Rooted in principles dating back to the time of Hippocrates, homeopathy operates on four fundamental tenets: the ‘Law of Similars’ or ‘like cures like’, ‘Single Remedy’, ‘The Minimum Dose’, and the ‘Direction of Cure’. Adhering to these principles ensures optimal efficacy of the medicine.
Homeopathic treatment views the individual holistically, focusing on the person rather than merely the disease. Through a comprehensive assessment encompassing physical symptoms, emotional state, and lifestyle factors, practitioners tailor treatment plans to stimulate the body’s innate healing response.
Central to homeopathic remedies is the concept of dilution and potentization, where substances are meticulously diluted and succussed to create highly diluted remedies. This minimal dose approach aims to minimize adverse effects while still prompting the body’s healing mechanisms.
Why is homeopathy so popular?
➤ Homoeopathic treatment works with your body’s own healing powers to bring about health and well being
➤ You are treated as an individual, not as a collection of disease labels
➤ Homoeopathy can treat at all levels of your being; emotional, mental and physical
➤ Homeopathically prepared remedies are provided in low doses and are gentle, subtle and powerful
➤ They are non-addictive, and not tested on animals
➤ There are no serious side affects to homoeopathic remediess
I have been practising homoeopathy for over twenty years . My initial training with the use of homeopathic remedies and nosodes taught by Dr (med) Elizabeth Grund combined the use of EAV and remedies. This is now called Homeotoxology.
In order to gain a fuller understanding of Traditional Homeopathy I trained with the Fellowship of Homeopaths under the supervision of Professor Malcolm Stemp.
Homoeopathy treats the person not the condition and is therefore Holistic in the true sense of the word.
Suitable for the whole family for acute and chronic conditions
Homeopathy is widely used in Europe and worldwide by medical doctors homeopaths and naturopaths. Research into the structure of water and its relevance to homoeopathy and dilution is current.
